I’m Robert. My work brings together 40 years of editing experience and hands-on experience with AI in writing and editing, to help teams produce clearer, more consistent communications and reduce avoidable drafting and review work.

Who I am
I’m a Canadian editor. I directed language consulting at IBM Japan and Lotus Japan, edited engineering research at NKK, founded EditFast and TranslationHelp in 1998, and have edited research for scientists at the University of California, Davis and Osaka University.
Today I put that experience to work for teams that write with AI.
